It's a good thing I'm not trying to make money on this thing. Solely for our family history. lol. Let's get back to business. This year has started out well and been keeping us busy. (Hence the late start, hehe) Here are some shots of what we did in January.

My Turkish brother came to visit for a few days while he was here for carpet show. It was great to spend time with him and see some amazing carpets. The girls had a great time with him as well.

We were invited to join Ahmet at the Amazing Carpet Awards Ceremony. It was so fun to go and see such amazing talent in these carpets. Theirs didn't win, but it was still fabulous!

I also donated my hair to Panteene Beautiful Lengths. I cut 8-10 inches.

Mark and I both read Gone with the Wind this fall and had a great date night to the Margaret Mitchell house.

Christmas 2015

We had lots of fun and visitors for Christmas and after. My parents came for Christmas and the girls had a great time getting lots of grandparent time.

Our Elf on the Shelf got a lot more creative this year and did some silly things as well as leaving some treats. One of our favorites was when he doodled on our family pictures on the wall.

The traditional Christmas eve dinner... these girls' favorite part was the rolls.

One short napkin holder? No problem. The girls just made another one.

Way too many presents...

Our Christmas day was not too crazy and we took our time opening presents. We did Santa gifts, had breakfast, played with Legos, lunch, then got to the presents under the tree. It was nice to space things out and enjoy the day. The older 3 girls actually stayed up till 11:30pm on Christmas as we watched It's a Wonderful Life. Quite the holiday!

My mom made her beautiful dress! Sewn with great talent and love. You can't see all the details, but it is very beautiful. She really looks like a princess!

The next week we took a roadtrip to the Unclaimed Baggage Center in Scottsboro, AL. The girls had a great time trying on all the fun high heels!

We had a special treat after Christmas when two of my nieces came to visit for a few days. we had fun hanging out together and showing them some fun things around town. Our first stop was to the Atlanta History Center.

We unfortunately don't have any pictures from our New Year's Eve celebration cuz we all went to bed before midnight, lame, I know. But we did celebrate the next day. :)
