Here in Georgia some of the schools have decided to begin school during Summer so they can have a week off 6 weeks later. I would rather extend Summer, but we still had fun last week coming up with some fun things to do around the city. The girls had so much fun being home and playing together. We really feel lucky to have such great girls! We will be well taken care of when we get old.
We started the break off by going to the mall. The girls got to open the Disney Store with magic!
Also at the mall they had a Lego display of important things and places in America. We were all impressed!

And of course the girls got to play and create some of their own...
We ended this adventure with a ride on the carousel.
The weather was a bit dreary and rainy, but we were able to hit a few parks, which the girls loved! This park isn't too close to our house so we don't get to go as often. It is on the way to Mark's work so we went to the park and then met him for lunch.
A day at the Georgia Aquarium! It was fun to go on a day that wasn't too busy. We enjoyed watching all the fish, but our favorite this time were the otters. (Even though we didn't get any pictures of them).
Pointing to their favorite fish...

Love how this one turned out!
Elena wanted an action shot
Watching the dolphin show, one of our favorites!
Abigail got some face paint and they all enjoyed painting. Adriana was the master painter!
They also got to paint some night shirts. I didn't get a picture at the end, but they all did a fantastic job.

Friday night we went out as a family to a Hibachi restaurant.
Saturday morning there was a 5k to raise money and awareness for Childhood cancer. It was rainy, but Mark and Adriana ran with Abigail enjoying the ride in the stroller. Adriana did awesome, running most of the course. We know a few families that have lost a child to cancer and our hearts go out to them. So little funding is given for all the types of cancer found in children, less than 4%. It would be great to see this area a research grow to help our children.

After the race was an event call touch-a-truck where they have all sorts of trucks, cars, fire engines, SWAT cars, helicopters, etc. We had a great time despite the light rain, and took lots of pictures!

This is a race car that had the hood lifted so you could sit in the seat. Pretty impressive!

The helicopter was the favorite!
We had a great week and it was fun to be with the girls all day. And, crazy enough, with all the doing we did, I didn't go into labor. Soon enough :)
