Halloween...with lights

We had a great Halloween and as the girls are older they enjoyed the festivities even more. The best part is that we had electricity. Our hearts have gone out to those affected by Sandy. We were reminded of last year when most of CT was out of power for a week or more. Halloween didn't really happen. Ever since, Adriana has associated Halloween with not having power. Since then she has also liked playing the 'no electricity' game and turning out all the lights. This year we were able to enjoy a little more and they even got to go trick-or-treating!

Making sugar cookies.

A play date with chocolate cupcakes! A real hit!!

 Trunk-or-treating at the church.

Elena is Pooh, Adriana is a ghost, Abigail is a Cat, Baby Girl is a jack-o-lantern, and Mark is Napoleon Dynamite.

We also got to go to the BYU-GA Tech game . . . and we won! 41-17

Fun carving pumpkins. We let them all color and decorate them since they couldn't participate in the carving part.

The finished project. (It is carved, but Adriana wanted to show off her coloring.)

Happy Halloween and a great November to all!
