England, Part the second

More of downtown London, sites, West End, and good food.

Big Ben and parliament. We watched part of a session.

This show was AMAZING!! We loved all the sets too!

One morning we took a run through Kensington Garden and Hyde Park. We didn't cover it all, but saw much more at our pace than we would have if we were walking. I was so beautiful and peaceful.

Speaking in Speaker's Corner. This is where President Hinckley spoke on his mission.

Because Mark is an actuary, he was able to talk to people at work and set up a tour at Lloyds of London. This is where insurance started. It was cool to see and discover some history. The Titanic was even insured through them!

So many beautiful buildings everywhere

And awesome food!

We also got to explore the Tower of London and all its history and jewels.

Some of the messages left by prisoners

We listened to evensong at St. Paul's Cathedral

Pies of every kind in all the pubs

David and Jarrett knew all the best places to eat!

We also saw Matilda! The children actors were phenomenal!

10 Year Anniversary Trip to England! Part I

Well, it has been far too long since I've blogged consistently. I decided that I better start now to catch  before all is lost...

Mark and I took a trip to England the end of March to celebrate our 10th anniversary which we celebrated 6 months earlier. My brother David lives there, so it was a perfect opportunity to go while we had a tour guide.

Covent Garden

Shakesphere's Globe theater

Tate Modern Art

Yamato drummers

Sherlock Holmes

We took a river cruise down the Thames River. It was beautiful!

We went to Warner Brother Studios to see the making of Harry Potter!

We got to open the doors of the great hall
