The Second Month

Okay, this is the last post for awhile. Here are more pictures of our cuties! You'll be able to tell a difference in their size from the beginning to the end. They are now both 22 inches and Elena is 10 lbs 9 oz, and Abigail is 10 lbs 10 oz.

I will add a little side note about Abby's name. When she was born we called her Abby. We didn't really decide on a name for her until the day before we left the hospital so since Abby was the top on the list, that's what she went by since we couldn't just say "the baby." Too confusing! We gave her the name Abigail because we love it, but were already used to calling her Abby. Well, about a month later we decided to try out Abigail and we like that so even though we call her both, we're using Abigail more.

This was the funniest little photo shoot. They were both content when we started, and Elena was even asleep. During our picture taking Abigail woke up and was not happy (as you can see). We took a few more pictures and Elena didn't wake up at all. Adriana even joined us for a few pictures in the middle. She must have been pretty tired!

One of the other really fun things our big sister got to do while grandma and grandpa were here was to help with the front yard. It was in great need of a makeover and grandpa knew just what to do. Daddy and Uncle Benj helped out a lot too.

Newborn pictures

Okay, so we're going to play a little catch-up. The twins have been growing so fast and are as cute as ever. Things are still busy and we're trying to get a schedule figured out. I can't even imagine what it will be like when they become mobile! We've been going through about 150+ diapers a week so it feels like that's about all we do is change dirty diapers. The number has been decreasing and will continue to do so especially when we get Adriana potty-trained. We are having tons of fun and we love our little cuties. They are actually already sleeping through the night which is a miracle since Adriana didn't do that until about 9 months. So we feel pretty lucky.

Here are some pictures that my sister-in-law, Sarah, took when she was out here helping us. They are 2 weeks old in these shots. She did an amazing job! We're so lucky she was able to come to help and take some great pictures. Thanks Sarah!
