Halloween!

We had some great fun for Halloween! Before we left Texas we were invited to a Halloween party by one of Adriana's friends in the neighborhood. It was a great to see everyone before we left and to have a last playdate.

Then off to Connecticut with the beautiful trees... quite a contract from Wylie!

We had fun carving pumpkins...

and we had the most beautiful Snow White you'll ever see! Grandma made her dress while we were in Iowa and she was a very happy princess.

We also had fun at some church parties all dressed up. Adriana won a few fish at the carnival they did. She named them Nemo and Otto.

Fun in the Fall

Here are a few random shots from the last few months as well as our trips to the Arboretum and the good-byes.

Adriana has had fun with all of the babies' toys and accessories.

Always fun on the playmat

We also enjoyed going to the Dallas Arboretum a few times this fall. They have a beautiful autumn display. We went with some of Adriana's friends and here are some pics of our time.

The petting farm, Adriana is so courageous

Every time we go there we have to visit the face painting. Adriana loves becoming a new character for the day. This time she chose to be a cat.

And of course at the end we had to strip down and play in the water. A nice refresher.

So before we left Dallas, I wanted to take the girls to the Arboretum one last time. I wasn't able to find anyone to go with me so I decided to take on the challenge of going alone (outnumbered 3 to 1). The good thing was that we could just leave if it was too crazy. The girls all did fabulous and we had a great time. Once again Adriana got her face painted which was the highlight, but was also able to do the craft, join the Kindermusik group, play around in the pumpkins, feed and pet the animals, and enjoy the beauties!

Abigail is in the brown outfit and Elena in the orange.

She holds so still it's amazing!

I tried to get them all together, but Abigail wasn't having it. Still pretty cute though!

It was hard to leave Dallas and all the friends we have there. Here are a few we got the last week.
The Jensens - They helped us so much with the girls and are like their other grandparents.

Always fun with Sara Beth!

Trip to Iowa and Branson

After Mark came out to Connecticut to start working, we decided to take a trip back home to Cedar Falls. We had a great time with family there and the girls enjoyed being with grandma & grandpa, aunts & uncles, and playing with the cousins!

FUN IN BRANSON, MISSOURI

We spent a week in Branson at my parent's timeshare and had a great time together. We also saw several great shows! It is definitely a place we'd like to go back to again.

Adriana and Kathryn had lots of fun together!

This is a light show downtown that was created by the same person that did the Belaggio in Las Vegas. It is a smaller version, but a great show. As you can see it also includes fire.
