It's a good thing I'm not trying to make money on this thing. Solely for our family history. lol. Let's get back to business. This year has started out well and been keeping us busy. (Hence the late start, hehe) Here are some shots of what we did in January.

My Turkish brother came to visit for a few days while he was here for carpet show. It was great to spend time with him and see some amazing carpets. The girls had a great time with him as well.

| Chubby cheeks! |
We were invited to join Ahmet at the Amazing Carpet Awards Ceremony. It was so fun to go and see such amazing talent in these carpets. Theirs didn't win, but it was still fabulous!

| Christine has grown so much and is becoming very independent. Dressed all by herself. |
 |
| Fun with friends. |
Mark and I both read Gone with the Wind this fall and had a great date night to the Margaret Mitchell house.

We've made a family goal to do a hike each month. Here is our hike on the Leita Thompson trails.
 |
| A special hot cocoa date! |
 |
| Play group to Cici's Pizza |
We also had Mark's brother, Ben, visit us from Las Vegas. Had fun taking him to Margaret Mitchell's house.
