A visit from the Tanners

We have had a very busy and fun month! The end of July Mark's parents and his younger brother Johnny came out to visit us. We had a great time seeing a few sites downtown and hanging out.

Here are some pictures from the Dallas World Aquarium. We were very impressed with all the sea and other life they had. We even got to watch the sharks at feeding time!

It was sleeping up in the tree so this was very tempting...

Do you know why flamingos are pink? It is the shrimp they eat that gives them the color!

Here are a few of the 6th floor museum where JFK was shot.

We also went to see the Dallas soccer teem play Kansas City. Knowing the soccer is a low scoring game we were hoping for at least 1 goal.... Dallas actually won 6-0 so we lucked out. It was a great game and our seats were awesome.

Our little dancing queen

Adriana is our little dancer. This is a cute clip of her skills.

Adriana update

Adriana has had lots of fun exploring things and learning new things every day. She can say 8 words now! Here are a few glimpses of everyday life with Adrianaita.

She has continued climbing on things and now it's her game to see if she can get up on the table or chair before mommy or daddy catch her. Luckily she can get down by herself.

Here are a few of her other favorite activities. She loves phones, especially cell phones. This is one her uncle gave her when we were in DC and she LOVES IT! It's a real phone and she can push all the buttons to make all sorts of things happen. Who knows all the people she's tried to call. :)

We have spent a lot of time at the pool and Adriana loves the agua (which is one of her favorite words).

She tried a bit of salad, but decided it wasn't very tasty and it just stuck to her chin for awhile.

My mom made me this bonnet when I was little so we put it on Adriana for Pioneer Day.

P90X

Adriana is already dedicated to the intense work-out program P90X. She decided to join in and I'm sure in 90 days she'll have a 6 pack along with bulging biceps. It's kind of dark, but still a great video.
