Here goes the catch up....
February was a fun month. And the weather was great! As we hear about all the cold up north, we are grateful for the 10 degrees of variance that Cuenca has all year. The best part about this month was Carnaval! We had days off of school and lots of festivities, mainly with water and spray foam.

I've been trying to read the Book of Mormon in Spanish. I love cuddling with these cute dogs! Elena, Abigail and Christine have been taking horseback riding lessons and really enjoy it. The place we go is about 30 minutes away out in the country and it's so beautiful!! |

| My friend Sara from CT is from Guayaquil and she came to visit her family. I felt honored that she and her sister came to Cuenca for a few days. It was so fun to catch up. |

| We went to a thermal spa and it was AMAZING!! We did a 2 hour tour which included several mud rubs, steam box and hot and cold pools. |

| There was a big youth activity for Carnaval and the kids played some fun games! |

| The younger kids' activity was a recycling pageant show. Their costumes turned out so well! |

| In the Plaza San Francisco they had a foam blower. The kids had a blast, or rather were blasted by it. |

| On Wednesday of Carnaval week we went to Guayaquil for the day to go to the temple. We also went to a cacao museum which was cool to learn about the process. |
