Summer endings and School beginnings

One of our Summer projects was to repaint our deck. It took awhile to finish, but it looks great now! The girls were a great help and loved painting. We also replaced a few pieces of siding on the house and painted those too, but don't have pictures to document.

Christine was so diligent, and not fooled when we gave her fake paint.

Finished!
After seeing how cool the pressure-washer was, we did the driveway and sidewalks. It was amazing!!

The rest of these pictures are a random assortment during this time.

This baby tooth would not come out and after both of her adult teeth started growing in we tied floss around it to tie to a door. She got scared after it was tied on, but instead of cutting the floss off we left it, knowing the long string would do the trick. After 2 days it did get caught on something and came out. Phew!

Abigail & Elena had a few more weeks until preschool started so it was fun to have playtime!

One night these girls informed us that they were going to stay awake all night and then just sleep all day. A long while later we found them like this in their room. They had each made a bed on the floor and had given up their beds to their beloved Stuffies, equipped with pillows and all. It was a 'precious moment.'

Fun at the pool! These girls progressed so much this summer and became so daring! We spent a lot of our time swimming  this summer.

Abigail mastered the diving board with Adriana.

Yeah!
