Elena & Abigail Turn Two!

Elena & Abigail just turned two and continue to add so much fun to our family. They are saying new words everyday and enjoy the continual play date with their sisters. Here is a little about each of them.

Elena - older by one minute, she enjoys being a part of the action. She is social and always excited to meet new people. She loves books and any activity that her sisters are doing. She is very caring. Usually eager to share with her sisters. She loves to identify things to their owner. She also loves to be noticed (what twin doesn't) and calls out to us if she wants us to be looking or commenting on what she is doing. She also does this when Abigail shares something to make sure we know about it. Lately the girls pretend that they are dogs and take turns being the dog or owner.

Abigail - Abigail is equally as compassionate as her sister and very silly . She loves to do funny things and make others laugh. She also loves jumping and it's amazing how much air her little legs can get. She is not timid about trying to say new words or meet new people. She also loves to sing (like Elena) and put her babies to bed. Her favorite song is "Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam" and says all the 'beams' when we sing or just makes a song of it when she sings it. 

Ever since Adriana's birthday they have been waiting for their turn to be celebrated. Any time we mentioned party, they yelled out "Elmo Party!"

We decided that it was a perfect day to clean the porch. Oil spilled in the generator back in the fall after the storm and it left quite the residue. The girls thought it was so much fun. (They've already asked to do it again)

 And on for the birthday party! We had two other sets of twins over (twin moms have this tendency to flock together), and another boy they like to play with. It was quite the crazy party.

Even though you can't really tell, they are all dancing to Elmo singing.

Elmo cake take 2. Since the first one turned out so well, we decided to opt out of buying a cake and try again.

Some fun parties, and good memories. Now we can relax a little and rest assured that Mark & I will enjoy a more peaceful birthday.
