After getting checked into our hotel, we walked around Puerta Villamil. It's a small town. We went to the beach and swam, and booked a tour for the next day. Dinner at a fun pizza place. Our Airbnb was so cute! We loved it!

We did the Tintoreras tour which was so awesome! We went to another small island off of Isabela and saw blue footed bobbies, penguins and sharks!!

| The piers were always fun to go to at night. Sometimes the water was lit up so you could see the fish. |

| We went on a tour to see some of the highland areas. The first was los gemelos. 2 craters made from lava that hardened and then collapsed. The surrounding area is like rainforest. And it was cooler up there. |

| The second stop was a turtle refuge called El Chato. There were some VERY large turtles! |

| We also got to go through some lava tunnels! Reminded some of us of the Lunar Chronicles. |

| In the late afternoon, many of the turtles find a nice mudhole to soak in and keep warm. |

| We usually snacked for lunch and then found a fun place to eat dinner. Lots of yummy food! |
