Still at home and we finished home school! Yeah!! The girls did a great job, and I worked on different ways to be successful at teaching from home, or keeping them on task as they worked on what the school district gave them.
I don't think I've written about the tree house and bridge that Mark and the girls built. It took a lot of time and work, but it turned out great!
We got some caterpillars and watched them grow into butterflies. It was a fun science activity and Christine even did a project on the life of a butterfly. It was hard to let them go and we had some tears as they flew away.

We decided to try our hand at a garden. We did it about 5 years ago and our fruits never came to pass. I will say that was with GA soil, not the rich soil of Iowa. We'll see what grows!

| John attempted to paint his hand then the flush the painting supplies down the basement toilet. This boy is so quick! After plunging, snaking and even taking the toilet off to see if we could get out whatever was stuck, nothing worked. We got a few broken paintbrushes out, but it still wouldn't flush. Unfortunately we had to buy a new toilet. |

| For Mother's Day Mark took all the kids camping. I had almost 24 hours to myself! They had a great time and I got caught up on some things. |

| Two days later it was Mark's birthday. He doesn't eat breakfast till later, but the girls were excited about doing something for him so we gave him water in bed instead of breakfast in bed. |

Mark wrote songs for a lot of the multiplication facts and during quarantine we decided to put them to video. It was fun and we tried to get creative. They are all movies so we don't have many pictures, but here's a good one of John. This was 3x6=18
