March 2020 Before Spring Break

We started the month out by going up to Cedar Falls for a fun birthday dinner with my mom! We didn't get many pictures, but here's one Christine got. We have been so blessed to be closer to them and to have so much help in so many different ways. We also had parent teacher conferences and didn't know then that it would be the last time in the school for Mark and me. We got to see some cool artwork the girls did too! I also got to help out in Adriana's Family and Consumer Science class and Mark got to go to a special breakfast they served. We never knew how different life would be as we took the girls out of school early on March 12 as we left for Spring Break.

Ian turned 3! Annie made an awesome cake.

John has this thing where he falls asleep at dinner if he hasn't had a nap. It's so cute to watch.

February 2020

This month was so cold! We started off the month by going down to Nauvoo for the reenactment of when the pioneers left Nauvoo back on February 4, 1846. We were just walking for an hour and were freezing!! Our friends took Savannah and John so we could have some time with just the older girls. Adriana joined the youth in the ward for a temple trip. Each time we visit Nauvoo and learn more about those early saints, my gratitude grows for their sacrifice and all they gave up to live the gospel and stand up for what they believed in. We also had some fun with preschool and had some awesome field trips.
Christine didn't have a birthday party this year, but we did have a special play date tea party. She invited a few of her friends and we had fun decorating a mug, painting a small canvas and enjoying some yummy food. They each got to decorate their own cupcake too!

We had a Valentine party and it was so fun! It was great to be with friends and we all enjoyed the games.

A new game of straw and Q-tips bow and arrow. Probably one of our new favorites!

The girls did some great valentine boxes!

The kids prepared a nice double date dinner!
