May Flowers

We have had lots of fun and excitement the past few months. So much in fact that we haven't been able to record it yet. Here are some glimpses of May.

Some informal shots of our cute girls.

Adriana had a loose tooth that came out after eating corn on the cob.

Happy Birthday Mark! (Incidentally his birthday fell on Mother's Day this year)

The girls helped me decorate the cake

Two great sisters

Abigail helping make pizza. Who says you can't make your pizza and eat it too?

Adriana graduated from preschool! It's hard to believe that she will be in kindergarten next year.

The last of the birthday celebrations

We made a small garden mixed with vegetables and flowers. The girls did a great job preparing the soil and planting the seeds. This is our first attempt so we'll see what actually grows, but even if we don't get produce it has been a fun experience.

We have a family tradition of putting flowers on the gravestones on Memorial Day. We've never been able to put them on our family's graves so we find old ones, or ones that don't have anything. The girls love it!

Sweet Christine 4 months old.
She is such a sweet baby and so smiley!

I don't know who took this picture, but I would never allow all this jumping.... or I just think these girls are so cute and too funny!

We had a camping adventure (in our backyard).

Happy Birthday Elena & Abigail

I can't believe these sweet girls are 3! Most of that time has been a blur, but I will say that it's getting much easier. They have so much fun together and hate to be separated. It was fun to celebrate such wonderful girls!

Carrying on a family tradition of breakfast in bed.

Opening presents

Enjoying ice cream cone cupcakes!

They both insisted on having a Princess Pary! (Luckily they wanted the same thing). Several weeks before the party they talked about how excited they were about their birthday. If we saw anything princess anywhere, they enthusiastically said it was for their party.

Happy Birthday Adriana!

Before we tell about the birthday celebrations, we have to share a few pictures of our clown and the circus. Adriana did a circus at her school and it was so cute! All the students were different characters from the circus and Adriana chose to be a clown. We created a costume and she even sewed the pants! It was a fun project and she really enjoyed it.

Again, her sisters requested a little makeup too.

Now on for the birthday! Adriana has come to love Ninja Turtles... something to do with one of her best friends liking them. So that was the theme to the party.

A fun freeze dance game
Pin the mask on the TMNT

Since Ninja Turtles love pizza, each of the kids got to make their own. This was the adult pizza with Adriana's initials.

The party favors was green Ooze and candy.

Her actual birthday was the next day.

Breakfast in bed... well in her room.

Presents from her sisters

A new bike! She went on a scavenger hunt to find it.
We can't believe that she is 5 already! Time has passed so quickly and she has been such a fun part of our family. Happy Birthday Adriana!!!
