A surprise weekend with Brian Regan

Mark surprised me last weekend with a trip to Abilene, TX to see Brian Regan live! It was awesome. I had never heard of him until I met Mark and now we are both big fans. If you haven't heard of him you've got to check him out. He's on tour now and may be visiting near you!

We also went to a museum featuring Mo Willems, author of Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. It is one of my favorite children's books.

And to finish our weekend we went to a dog show! That was a first for all of us. Adriana was fascinated by all the dogs. She did pretty good up close too!

Christmas

We went to Iowa to spend Christmas with the Hansens. Six of the 9 kids were there which is the most we've had all together in a long time! Then we went down to Missouri for New years. It was lots of fun and we got plenty of snow and cold weather to last us until next year!
