Yes, it's true. We'll be moving to Connecticut where Mark got a new job. He started working last month and we will be following him out there shortly. It's a big change for us, and has been a lot of work, but is a good change and we know it will be a great place to be. Just hope we don't freeze this winter!
To everyone here in Dallas, you will be sorely missed. It has been so fun here and we have loved getting to know you all. The time went fast, but it has been so great.
Other than that, the babies are keeping us busy as always. They just turned 6 months! They are both rolling over like crazy and getting ready to crawl. I keep telling them to take their time, but they just smile at me.
I know you've all be waiting to hear... Adriana is potty trained! Oh, that feels good. We went up to Iowa for a few weeks (which we'll be blogging about later) and with a few extra grandparent hands we were able to get it done. She is doing great and loves wearing her "big girl panties."
Stay tuned for lots of cute pictures of our growing girls.

Our cutie update
Now for the fun blog! Updates and pics of the 3 cutest girls around. Adriana is a great big sister and loves to play with and help her baby sisters. She is great at getting diapers, putting pacifiers back in and entertaining them. It makes her day just to play with them.
Elena and Abigail are both rolling over now, but Abigail does it more frequently. She also likes to roll over and over. Elena is more content in one spot. They are both great babies and have the cutest laughs. It's hard to get that on camera, but when we do we'll add it.

Adriana is now sleeping in her "big girl bed", which is a great accomplishment. The one drawback is that she can get out of her bed unlike her crib. She loves reading and this is how I found her one day after I had put her down for her nap... Guess it doesn't matter where she sleeps. :)

Utah
We took a big trip this summer to visit family and friends in Utah. I mean big because we drove there. We took 2 days each way, which was good to break it up, but will most definitely fly next time. We are counting down the days until we get a van. I tell you, the sedan just isn't made for a 40 hour car trip with 3 car seats jammed in the back. The best is when the babies would finally fall asleep and Adriana (out of complete boredom) would lean over and play with one.
The drive was probably the biggest adventure of our trip. Adriana really did a good job staying entertained (yes, the babies helped her) with coloring... demonstrated in the first photo, reading, playing pretend with anything, etc. We only had to break out the DVD player at the very end. We were very impressed with her patience in the car. The babies had a harder time...

We stopped in Denver on the way to see my sister and her family, but were doubly-lucky when she had her baby that night. We were able to see him in the morning. They gave him a great name, Tanner.

Once we got to Utah we had a lot of fun seeing everyone. We also got to go up to our cabin and stay for a night. Adriana loved exploring with her cousins.

2 more months have passed
I can't believe that 2 more months have gone by. All the days and weeks blend together and we don't always know which side is up. We've had a great summer and wanted to highlight a few things we've done. In July Mark's parents came to visit. This was their first time seeing Elena & Abigail which was the biggest draw to come visit. We also took them to see a few sites as well.
The other big highlight was going to the new Cowboys Stadium! We went to the BYU Oklahoma game last year, but this time we got to go on the field.

We went to South Fork Ranch to see where Dallas (the TV series) was filmed. It is only about 10 minutes from our house.
